Remember Tricky Tray—formerly known as the Chinese auction? It’s a classic fundraising raffle/auction event where:
- Local, timely event: Takes place once, in local event hall
- Item Display: Items are showcased on tables for all to review
- Ticket Purchase: Attendees buy tickets to bid on their favorite items
- Bidding: Participants place their tickets in a container beside the item they desire; more tickets mean a better chance of winning
- Drawing: At the end of the auction, one ticket is manually drawn from each container, and the ticket holder wins the corresponding item
